Witness what could quite possibly be the greatest turning point in the history of our planet as we are joined by returning guests Elliot and Final Neal of MK Podquest to analyze EVERY movie based on a fighting game ever, to determine who is the true supreme champion.

-Street Fighter (1994)
-DOA (2006)
-Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li (2009)
-Tekken (2009)
-The King of Fighters (2010)
-Tekken 2: Kazuya's Revenge (2014)
And, of course, (albeit briefly), Mortal Kombat ’95, Mortal Kombat Annihilation, and Mortal Kombat (2021). It is the ultimate movie tournament!

The Mortal Kombat games contain some of the most iconic music in video games, thanks to the legendary Dan Forden. And to think that it all started by creating music through coding. We try our best to talk about the music in the first three MK games across the major platforms and make failed attempts to sing/hum the various stage tracks (sorry in advance lol).
We also take a moment to discuss some news, such as the announcement of a new writer for the MK 2021 sequel and Ed Boon’s induction into the Academy of Interactive Arts & Sciences hall of fame! The Kombat Time Trio delves deep into the next batch of MK komics, conquering Mortal Kombat Collecter's Edition #2 by John Tobias, as well as MK: Battlewave, Tournament Edition #2, and the one-shots Baraka and Kung Lao, all written by the venerable Charles Marshall. It's a heck of a trip, and we may trip over ourselves deciding whether to reference ourselves in the third person or not. Toasty!!
