Who needs Scorpion when you have Link? Who needs MK's lore when you have Kojima's inventive storytelling? Who needs Invasions when you have the sprawling worlds of Metroidvanias? Who needs Mortal Komba—okay, that might go too far. We love Mortal Kombat, but we also love a lot of other franchises and game genres. We take a moment to talk about our favorite games growing up and in present day, and even touch upon the philosophical question of why we play games.
